Rinpoche; 仁波切; Tibetan: རིན་པོ་ཆེ (rinpoche); Wylie: rin po che;
Rinpoche means “precious one” or “jewel”. In Tibetan Buddhism, it is a way of showing respect when addressing those recognized as reincarnated, respected, learned and/or an accomplished Lamas or teachers of the Dharma. It is also used as an honorific for abbots of monasteries. Alternate spelling / Variations: Rimpoche, Rimpoche.
仁波切 (寧波車 / 仁波車) 的意譯是「珍寶」, 是對藏傳佛教上師的一種尊稱,仁波切可以是被認證的轉世者或是有很高修行的成就者。
