Tsongkhapa

Tibetan: ཙོང་ཁ་པ         Chinese: 宗喀巴, 洛桑 札貝

Je Tsongkhapa (1357-1419) was a Tibetan Buddhist who founded the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. His ordained name is Losang Drakpa (Sanskrit: Sumati Kirti). He is also known simply as Je Rinpoche.
He was the author of LamRim Chenmo (The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment).
