Manjushri

Tibetan: འཇམ་དཔལ་དབྱངས     Chinese: 文殊菩薩

Manjushri is the oldest and most significant bodhisattva symbolizing transcendental wisdom in Mahayana Buddhism. In Vajrayana Buddhism, he is depicted with flaming sword in right hand and scripture in his left hand.
