Klesha

Tibetan: ཉོན་མོངས། nyon-mongs     Chinese: 煩
Defilements, afflictions (Klesa) are negative destructive emotions and states of mind such as ignorance, attachment, aversion, anxiety, fear, anger, jealousy, desire, depression, delusion and doubt can cause a person to lose peace of mind and self-control. These are causes of suffering and are the roots of samsaric existence.
