God; 天道, 天人 (拉, 迭瓦); Tibetan: ལྷ (lha), དྷེ་ཝ (dewa); Wylie: lha, d+he wa; Sanskrit: Deva;
God (deva) is highest of the six classes of beings in Buddhist cosmology. They are reborn as gods because of the merits and good karma accumulated in past lives.
God realm has many levels of heavens:
- Arupyadhatu (Formless Realm)
- Arupachara (Form Realm)
- Kamadhatu (Desire Realm)
Gods may reborn in to lower realms when they die if they consumed all their past merits.
天人是最高級的六道眾生,但仍在輪迴之內。
