Yogachara, also known as Chittamatra, Mind Only School, or Vijnanavada, is an influential Mahayana Buddhist philosophy founded by Asanga in the fourth century. Its main premise is all phenomena are mental perceptions. It emphasizes the study of cognition, perception and consciousness through meditative and yogic practices.
