Geshe Tenzin Dorjee entered a Tibetan Buddhist monastery school at the age of 12.
In 1991, he was admitted to Sera Mey Monastic University.
In 2000, he obtained Bikshu vows.
In 2006, he completed the Bachelor of Buddhist Studies under the syllabus of Gelugpa University board of Examination studied five major traditional texts of Buddhist Philosophy.
In 2011, he was awarded Geshe Lharampa (PhD), the highest of the four grades of Geshe degree.
In 2012, he entered Gyudmed Tantric Monastery to study the various scriptures relating to the Vajrayana path and successfully completed all required examinations. He was awarded Geshe Ngagrampa.
In 2015, he went to Gosok Kunphen Association in Taiwan to share his knowledge about Buddhism teaching and ritual prayer to all the devotees and Dharma practitioners.
In 2017, Geshe Tenzin Dorjee came to Toronto to be the resident teacher of Kunphen Buddhist Centre.
