Chatrapa was a beggar in Sandhonagara who carried a small dictionary. One day he met a yogin and a conversation developed. The beggar received the initiation into Hevajra with detailed instructions with commentary from his guru because he expressed his lack of understanding.
After receiving the instructions, he meditated accordingly. In 6 years, he attained the siddhi of Mahamudra and became known as the guru Chatrapa. Together with 500 followers, he went to the realm of the Dakas.
